  8.      HP AdvanceLink for MS-Windows(r) and HP NewWave is a comprehensive data
  9.      communications product that enables you to integrate host/terminal
  10.      applications with your client/server and personal computer allocation.
  11.      It provides emulation of HP and DEC terminals, allowing you to access
  12.      and execute host software from your PC. Fast, reliable file transfer
  13.      simplifies exchange of data between your PC and the host. Task
  14.      automation minimizes the work required to complete complex or frequent
  15.      activities, improving productivity and reducing training needs.
  16.      AdvanceLink is supported on a variety of personal computers and supports
  17.      serial and LAN connections to the host computer.

  19.      MS-Windows
  20.      The multitasking capability of MS-Windows permits you to establish
  21.      multiple, simultaneous host connections over serial or LAN links.
  22.      Microsoft's(r) DDE protocol, combined with AdvanceLink's powerful
  23.      TermTalk command language, enables you to integrate host applications
  24.      with your PC even more closely.

  26.      HP NewWave
  27.      HP NewWave offers further benefits beyond MS-Windows. HP offers you the
  28.      choice of installing AdvanceLink either as an MS-Windows or a native
  29.      HP NewWave application, from a single set of disks. When you install it
  30.      in the HP NewWave environment, additional user interface and task
  31.      automation functions are enabled. AdvanceLink can then recognize and
  32.      handle HP NewWave data objects, simplifying data transfer. The TermTalk
  33.      command language has features in common with the HP NewWave Agent
  34.      language, and is better suited to data communications tasks. TermTalk
  35.      can also invoke HP NewWave Agents. When you use AdvanceLink within the
  36.      HP NewWave environment, you have the benefits of this sophisticated user
  37.      interface and the powerful task automation capabilities, enabling you to
  38.      achieve a level of integration that is impossible in other environments.
